Hi, My name is Windsor of the Queen Elizabeth Litter.

When I came into care, I was a bit timid but got over that quickly. I love people and am happy with anyone that wants to give me a pat. I am a super sweet lovable boy that loves to play with toys. You might want to make them the hard kind till I’m a bit older, I tend to make short work of stuffies. I am losing my teeth and that can be painful so I chew.

One of my favourite places to be is in your lap as you humans are pretty awesome, so I hope you like cuddles. The whole lap thing may get a bit difficult as I get older, but I am completely confident I will find a way to fit one way or another. If not I am sure you will find somewhere else to sit, I AM royalty, after all, being from the Queen Elizabeth Litter.

I like the yard A LOT because there is room to run and play and there are so many things for me to eat but apparently not everything is good for me and I am told no. I am getting really good at listening but I am a puppy so remember I am a work in progress but learning very quickly. I know the words out, come and no, so that definitely helps.

I get a bit noisy so apartment or condo living is not the life for me but when my fosters tell me not to bark at something I pretty much listen, can’t promise I won’t give a couple last woofs under my breath. Foster mom says I am such a good boy and am getting calmer every day.

I have not met any cats yet but I do have a four-legged Foster brother who is trying to teach me the ropes and we get along great. I have also had some company where there were 6 dogs and I did great. If you have a playmate for me that would be awesome but I would be absolutely fine if you were my only playmate.

I have met some kids but I am still a bit jumpy when I am happy to see them so if you have kids just take note of that. I am not nippy, just jumpy and I am getting a lot better at not doing that too.

I am very smart and am grasping all the rules really quickly and with your help and guidance I will be the best boy.

I have not had any accidents in the house and am fully kennel-trained. I go in my kennel (you might have to toss in a treat) when my fosters are eating or have to go somewhere and also for the night. When it is bedtime I stay in my kennel without a peep till morning.

I can’t go for walks yet because I haven’t had all my shots but I have been in a harness and on a leash walking in the yard and driveway and do really well. I have lots of energy so you can play with me or walk me all you want. What? Didn’t get your steps in today I can surely help you take care of that.
