Team volunteers are volunteers who are able to commit several hours each week. Our volunteers are the back bone of Mutts, doing the work that allows animals to be rescued and re-homed. |Run Your Heart Out Race Director||Plan and organize yearly 5k and 8k run/walk. Book the park, coordinate the volunteers, create the registration website, organize the racers the day of and ensure we have proper insurance and permits for the event. Hours: minimal, however, hours will increase couple of months and a few weeks before the event.|
|Supply House – East End/Transcona||Store kennels, toys, gates, leashes, collars, food and other supplies to provide to fosters. Respond to emails from supplies and fosters, arrange pick up and drop off. Hours: vary|
|Raffle Administrator||Recruit and schedule volunteers to sell tickets at community booths. Organize prizes and draws, meet with MLCA inspector, marketing. Hours: 4-6/week|
|Finance Manager||Lead and support the finance team in meeting financial requirements daily/monthly/annually, review & ensure financials are up to date in QuickBooks. Complete monthly progress reports and schedule meetings (2-3/year). Conduct yearend activities and gather data for audit. Requirements: Strong accounting background – Education/Experience. Familiar with QuickBooks online. Demonstrated ability to manage/supervise. Hours: 10 hours/week|
|Fundraising, Events & Third-Party Events Administrator||Oversees and is a point of contact for requests/information regarding third party events. Collaborate/creatively come up with fundraising ideas. Attend fundraising events. Requirements: Ability to organize and prioritize. Communication with volunteers/public. Hours: 1-2 hours/week|
