Well hi there! I’m Wilbert! You’re probably thinking that’s a big name for such a little guy but my foster mom will tell you that my big personality suits the name perfectly.  I’m a very sweet boy that loves playing just as much as I do napping. You’ll often find me napping on my back ready for a belly rub at any time. 

I am working on my housetraining, my foster mom is impressed at how quickly I picked up on going outside, and sometimes I even let her know when I need to go. When I just can’t hold it and need to go inside, I make sure to use the training pad. 

I really don’t like kennels but I’m also working on that fear with my foster mom. We practice going in and out every day and she shows me that it’s not that bad of a place. We are also working on me spending some alone time in there each day. At night I sleep in my own bed beside my foster mom in her room. I never make any messes during the night and sleep until she wakes me up.   

I can be a little shy meeting new people and get a little scared when people try to pick me up or walk me through doors but if you move slowly and reassure me I’ll relax and warm up to you quickly.  

Do you have lots of dog toys at your house? I looooove chewing on things and toys keep me distracted from chewing on things I’m not supposed to. Plus, I’m still young and have some manners to learn. 

I haven’t been on any walks yet as I do not have all my vaccinations but I love exploring in the backyard.  

I’m a playful pup that will keep you on your toes but will also melt your heart. Is there room for me in your home?
