Hi future family, I’m Solar!

I’m a fun-loving bundle of energy that wants to snuggle with you and maybe nibble on you if I get bored.

I’m an active girl and would love a friend to play with! I love my cat siblings and like to wrestle with them! So if there are cats in my new future home, they need to be comfortable with my puppy antics! Little kids might not appreciate my nibbling and antics so I will need a pet-savvy sibling if there is one.

I’m learning to go slow with my food so my foster mom feeds me on something called a ‘lick mat.” I like it!! I sit very nicely and patiently before you put my mat down. I don’t like to be disturbed by my cat siblings when I’m eating though, I try to eat faster and grumble at them. So make sure to talk to me and keep competition away while I get comfortable! I don’t want to fight for my food anymore!

I’m working on using that thing called “The Leash.” They say I use my sniffer a lot and can get distracted outside but I am very good at telling you when I need to go out. I pace back and forth and sniff when I need to poop and go straight for the pee pad when I need to pee. But I’m told I “spite pee” if I don’t get attention. Maybe that’s why they call me a little stinker!

I’m good in my kennel at night, I go to bed at 10:00 every night and sleep mostly through the night unless I need to go to the bathroom. If you don’t hear me I will go to the bathroom in my kennel though! but I’m sure you’ll hear me because I howl! My foster mom says I might have some husky or shiba in me for the noises I make. So, an apartment/condo style won’t be suitable for me.

Look at my face, you can’t say I won’t be a great fit in your home. Will you adopt me?
