Hi, I’m Scout and I am an active guy! I like to have fun and run around and then lay around all day if I can, in the shade in the yard.

I am working on being house trained and I am fully crate trained. I can sometimes get the house training confused and spend hours outside just to have an accident inside but I’m happy to head back outside to finish my business and I am showing improvement every day.

I am good with other dogs but I’m still learning to give them space, sometimes I bark at them to get them to play with me so I need a careful introduction and a playful dog. I love to chase the cat but then she swipes at me and I give her some space.

I would definitely enjoy a house with a fenced yard. Apartment/condo living does not seem to be my kind of place.

I am still young and teething so I can be nippy so young children might not be best for me right now (keep a close eye on us!) but older kids are fun to play with so that would put me as green on the mutt-o-meter! I haven’t had all my vaccinations yet so I haven’t tried a walk yet.

I am a confident guy who will need an owner that is prepared to train me as I will be a bigger dog and I have a good amount of energy. I like to learn but I already think I know best sometimes. I have a huge personality and I am super charming and I love the outdoors, at least as much of it as I’ve seen. Are you ready to have fun together?
