Hi! My name is Sam, one of the Cheers Gang!

Am I not the most handsome boy with my pretty brindle coloured coat? And those ears? Not sure what’s happening with them yet, maybe someday they may end up together on top of my head like some puppies have do.

I can be a big lovable boy with a playful and carefree attitude one minute or be quietly content sitting beside you listening to your every word the next. I’m very much a follower so I just kind of go with the flow of things going on around me at the time.

I love to be outside playing with my siblings, collecting sticks and digging holes in the empty flower beds. I try to keep up to my sister Rebecca but she is too fast for me so I’m content to be with my other siblings wrestling or playing tug-of-war with a long stick. I love my human companionship and I can be a bit nippy but we are still working on that.

I’m not kennel trained yet but sometimes I sleep in one in the pen I share with my siblings. I’m on my way to house training, I prefer to go outside but when that’s not possible, I go on the paper usually.

Due to being separated from my canine mom at an early age, living in a quiet rural area and social distancing being the norm, I have not met or seen anyone except my human parents. Having said that, I may be a bit timid and cautious with strangers at first but with a bit of patience, I will show you the fun-loving curious boy that I am who loves to sometimes just take a break from it all and lay quietly beside you observing the world around me.

*I am being fostered in Gimli. Come on out and meet me, it’s not that far. I am so worth the drive. I will be ready to meet you once I am 8 weeks old and have had my first vaccine.
