Hi I’m Rusty from the National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation litter! I came into care at 2 weeks old with my mom and 4 other siblings! My foster mom likes to call me Rusty Roo!

I am a playful, snuggly, sweet boy. I am the biggest of all my siblings but I am the biggest lap pup and snuggle bug. I always want to be in on the action and near to my foster parents.

I am working on housetraining but I am still learning, so please be patient with me. I am very good at pooping outside but I need some work on peeing on the pee pads/newspaper in the house.

I’ve met quite a few other dogs at this point, my foster parents have 3 dogs in their possession and they think I will do well with a fur sibling, feline or canine. To be honest I’m not a fan of the kennel so I may cry if you leave me alone in there. 

I love to run around and play with my siblings, in the house and the backyard. I don’t love the cold because of my short coat, but I love warm snuggles when I come inside. I love chewing on sticks, chasing the ball around, and trying to nibble on foster mom’s hand when she cleans the floor. I also LOVE food. I am very food motivated.

I haven’t been on any walks yet but I hope to soon as I am newly vaccinated!
