Hi. I’m Ross!  

I’m a hilarious and active boy who loves to play, snuggle on my terms, and prance around the house. I love to play with my foster brother and am guaranteed to steal your heart and make you laugh. I’m a lot of fun if I do say so myself! I do a vocal happy dance at mealtimes and know to sit and wait for my meal until I hear my release word “okay”.  I know sit, stay, leave it, shake a paw, down, out, and am working on spin. I recall well to my name but don’t know the word come yet. Because I can be vocal I might not be best for apartment life.

I am fully housetrained and fully crate trained. I have an amazing bladder and insist on cuddling for at least 5 minutes when my foster family gets home from work before I’ll go pee. I am a champ in the car and have never cried on a drive even when we went for a long drive. I am good with other dogs and have met cats and did well with them. I’ve done very well around kids, the youngest kid I’ve met was 2. I was a little gentlemen around them, I think I’d be great with kids who respect my space. I do get really excited when adult guests come over and am working on learning not to jump on them. I settle quickly and am very relaxed once I’ve gotten to say hi. I don’t have any obvious fears and absolutely love going for walks! I haven’t had a lot of practice because I wasn’t fully vaccinated until recently and then I was neutered and needed to heal. I have excellent engagement on walks and am very food motivated. Foster mum says I’m a pleasure to walk and thinks l’ll be a pro in no time with ongoing training.
