Hi! I am Ottobre which means October in Italian.(That’s when I came into care!)
I am a happy girl who loves people and always has a tail wag for you.
I like dogs and would love one to play with! I try hard to play with my old foster sister- but she is a bit of a grump. I have so much fun when she does give in though. I haven’t met any cats or small children- I am sure I would like them if they can handle my puppy energy.
I am working on house training. I am pretty good if you keep and eye on me. I am also good in the kennel for half a day at a time.
I love exploring and can’t wait for the chance to go on walks. I do pretty good in the yard with a leash and a harness. The other day foster mom took me downstairs and now I just love going downstairs to explore. Foster Mom laughs because I will just sit at the door and give her my puppy dog eyes to go down. One problem- I haven’t quite figured out how to get back up!
I have a lot of energy and since foster mom works out of the house during the day- all my energy is saved up for the evening. I can often be found doing zoomies around the living room. I like toys- but I also like socks, shoes, scraps of paper or anything that seems like a challenge to steal! Just a warning that I am at that stage where I like to chew things. I will probably be losing teeth soon- so you will want some toys for me to chew on.
I guess I should mention- I do slow down sometimes! And when I do, I like to cuddle up with a human or find a sunny spot to snooze in.
Are you looking for a happy puppy who will follow you around and make you laugh? Then I am your girl!
*I was born with Entropion- which means my bottom eyelids rolled in. I had my eyelids tacked and the vet says they look great now. The vet will monitor my eyes as a grow and if my eyelid starts rolling back inwards, I will get a permanent fix when I am a bit older.
