Hi. I’m Olga of the Elio litter.

I’m a very gentle and laid-back Husky mix girl. I love playing fetch with my stuffed toys, taking a nap, learning & practicing tricks, napping some more, snuggling with my foster parents and following them around the house. Nothing is more fun than curling up on my foster’s lap and getting a good belly rub, followed by, you guessed it…. another nap (because I’m still a puppy and like to sleep a lot!) My gentle and loving nature is very endearing. It’s also my job to make my foster parents laugh every day with my playfulness.

I am working on getting house trained. I had a few accidents when I first started training but now I go outdoors all the time, as long as my foster parents pay attention to me sitting by the door!

I am working on being crate trained but still am unhappy when left alone for longer periods. My humans prefer to have me sleep with them at the foot of their bed since I sleep through the night, and cuddle with them when it’s time to wake up, but we are practicing having me sleep in the crate too! FYI… I have the best husky howl but this is also why an apartment style home isn’t suitable for me.

I am reserved with visitors and other dogs when I first meet them, but warm up as I get to know them.

I don’t have any experience with cats yet, but my foster parents are confident in my sweet personality, that once I meet them and know they won’t hurt me, we’ll become really good playmates!

My timid nature means I take some time (and maybe some treats) to trust strangers, but once I make friends, I’m loving and want to be loved in return, with lots of petting and belly rubs. I was lucky enough to meet young kids today! I was a gem with them- I win over visitors pretty quickly.

Since I’m not fully vaccinated, unfortunately I can’t go for walks except around the yard. I’ve started to practice walking on the driveway with the leash, but I am a little afraid right now since the world is so big and new to me! I’m still curious about everything out there though and watch the world out the window. Walking on the leash is a work in progress but I’m a fast learner.

I’m a very innocent, trusting and gentle pup. I take treats from your hand gently, and I’m sensitive about play biting so I don’t hurt you. I am a smart and loving girl who would love to snuggle up with you on your favorite chair or couch, welcome you home every day at the door, and lovingly greet you each morning with kisses and my wagging tail.

Do you have room for me in your family? I’d love to be your best friend and be there for you every day to love you and make you laugh!

My size: I’m still pretty little (under 30 pounds) at 7 months old, so it’s a bit of a guess how big I will get.
