Hi! My name is Mayra and I am a sweet and cuddly dog. My favorite things to do are sleep on a lap or sleep on a bed. I also enjoy long walks and free time to play outside. I love sneaking out and going on a jaunt outside but I always come back all smiles!

I am very respectful of the cats here in my foster house and I am gentle with the kids I’ve met, although I do get a bit excited around their fast movement and playing. I haven’t met any dogs in my foster house and I am quite reactive to them when I’m on walks, but I’m working on it. I imagine if I got to know a dog, I’d be fine with them. It would be best if I meet a potential dog sibling prior to adoption.

I have a big voice for a little dog and feel I need to bark at everything that moves. And with me around, you don’t need a doorbell!
You should know that I am absolutely terrified of car rides.

About the house training-I definitely am housetrained but sometimes it’s easier to just go to pee downstairs instead of ask to go outside. We are working together on this and I’m sure I will understand that my foster mom wants me to go outside all the time!
I am not kennel trained yet but I’m past the puppy stage of chewing so it hasn’t been a problem.
