Hi, I’m Matcha, and I’m a self-declared social butterfly.

Big question: Do you want to be my best friend? Because I want to be yours.

You see, I love people (big people and little people). I also love other animals. I basically love everyone I meet. My best animal friend right now is a cat, and we have so much fun together. We play, we chase each other around, I like to chew on his ears, and sometimes I just follow him around because, honestly, I like being wherever my friends are.

I’m also a pretty excellent cuddler. I’d win an award if there was one. Once I’ve finished playing and exploring, I love nothing more than curling up with my people (I also love giving kisses). I’m sweet, affectionate, and very loyal. I’m the kind of dog who follows you from room to room because I think wherever you are must be the best place to be.

I’m working really hard on my puppy manners, too! I’m almost fully house trained, and I’m already asking my people to let me outside. I sleep in my kennel at night like a big girl, although I still need to wake my humans up once or twice for a potty break (I’m still a baby, after all!). I also know how to sit—it took me a few minutes, and I nailed it. I’m pretty sure I’m going to be very good at learning new things because I really like making my people happy. I’m also really smart. Not to brag or anything.

And have you seen my face? I have the cutest little tan eyebrows that make me look like I’m always asking a question, a little white tip on my tail, and the sweetest little white and brown boots with black spots. It’s a fashion statement, I know. I’m pretty adorable, if I do say so myself.

But here’s the thing about me: I’m not just a cute face. I’m a little girl with a big heart. I want a family I can love with my whole heart—a family who will keep teaching me, keep me safe, take me on adventures, let me snuggle on the couch, and maybe, if I’m really lucky, give me another furry best friend to play with.

I’m still learning how to be the very best dog I can be, but I already know one thing for sure: I have a whole lot of love to give.
