Hi, I’m Kyoto. I’m a bubbly girl with lots of energy. I love going on walks, to the dog park, on bike rides and racing around the yard. 

I am housetrained and sit by the door when I want out. I’m also mostly crate trained but will whine when I’m in there sometimes. I eat all my meals in there, sleep in there and stay in there when my foster family is away. I haven’t been tested with cats, so I would likely do best in a home with no cats. I love walks and do well on leash.

I love giving hugs, and when I’m really excited, I’ll jump up on you just to be closer! (because of this, I shouldn’t go to a home with young children- kids over 12 are best) I’m also really good at receiving hugs, and will just melt into you if you give me one, as long as I trust you. 

New situations make me nervous, so I have some anxiety meds that I sometimes take when I go to the vet or to the groomer. If you adopt me, my foster family can explain that to you and they’ll send the meds along with me. 

These are some things that I want to have with my new home…-A fenced yard-A playful dog to play with, but who doesn’t mind if I’m the boss (this will also help me manage my anxiety in new situations) -An active family who will take my on their adventures-A family who will be home more than away, to give me time to get my energy out-Lots of toys and bones for me to chew on and destroy
