ADOPTION PENDING – NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS

Hi! My name is Justice but everyone calls me Winston. I’m a spunky little guy who was rescued from a dumpster. I’m now living a life of luxury, though, and am hoping to be part of your family! 
I’m a very food-driven and toy-driven lil dude. I love to chew on a bone or toy. I absolutely love treats (who doesn’t?!) and my foster mom says that makes it much easier to teach me things. She also says I’m a quick learner!
I know how to sit and to “wait” for my food/treats as well as when getting my leash put on to go outside. I’m working on “off” because I like to put my paws up on things. I can’t help it, I’m not very tall yet! 
My foster mom has been working from home and she says I have been a great coworker. I am happy to entertain myself or lie on the couch. I don’t get into much trouble. But I love when she takes breaks and pays attention to me! 
I’m just about fully house trained. As long as you take me outside regularly, I don’t have any accidents. I know to go straight to the door in the morning when I wake up so I can go to the bathroom. When my foster mom is away, she puts me in an x-pen or my kennel and I have not had any accidents in there! 
I sleep in a kennel no problem. You gotta pick me up to put me there, but I don’t fuss and I’m quiet all night! 
I love other dogs, love people and I like kids, too! I’m teething right now, though, and am working on being gentle with my mouth and my manners around dogs. Because of this, any pets or kids at home should be dog savvy. It is best I don’t live with an older dog that isn’t ready for my energy.  If you happen to have a playful dog that would be fantastic,  but let’s meet before I move in!! I am pretty good on leash but haven’t had a lot of practice yet as I just got my first round of vaccines. I love to be outside, though, and can’t wait to get exploring!
