Hi, My name is Gyro!

I came into care alone and have thrived at my foster home.  I am a super sweet confident, gentle boy and I am also cute as a button. I love cuddles, tummy rubs and playing with toys, alone or with my foster fur brother.   I’ve taken a special liking to those toys that squeak.  I apparently have the most AMAZING temperament. 

If you have any other pets I know I would get along with them famously and they will absolutely love me because I am irresistible.   

I have met kids and I think they are awesome.  I am not really nippy, but sometimes I think I’m just playing and don’t realize I still have some sharp little teeth.  My fosters remind me to not bite so I quickly switch to giving kisses with my most innocent “I didn’t do it” face.   

I haven’t met any cats but I am sure I would be just fine with them too.  

What’s that?  You don’t have littles or pets, no worries we can play together. I won’t say no to more attention for me. I love romping and running in our big backyard chasing toys, then it’s down for a nap.  

I am a really good listener and have already come so far with learning. I am kennel trained and sleep in my kennel all night.   I have also learned to go to my kennel for my meals so I don’t think anyone is going to steal my food. I am not 100% house-trained yet but am doing really well and am sure I will get it down pat in no time.  I have my ‘tells’ my fosters can let you know all about them. 

I come when called and when I get into foster mom’s flower garden and she tells me “out”,  I hop right on out of there. I would probably not be best in an apartment or condo because as awesome as I am, I do like to have some discussions with you or as awesome as I, apparently, at times give some attitude whatever that means. 

I can’t go for walks yet but I am going to enjoy that so much. You will be able to teach me things quite easily because I am such a smart boy.  We are going to have so much fun learning together.

You’ve heard the expression that someone wears their HEART on their sleeve, well if you look closely, I wear mine on my forehead to show you just how loving I am and I will do anything for you.   I’ll give you my whole heart if you give me yours.
