Hey there, I’m Fern!  I’m a spunky, affectionate little lady who wants nothing more than to be by your side! 

I am almost fully house trained, when I’m comfortable in an environment, I’ll even go to the door and wait to go outside! 

I am also fully kennel trained. If you leave the door open for me, I’ll likely take my naps in there throughout the day.

 I love other dogs and would benefit from a confident new friend in my new home to show me the ropes! I am very respectful of the cats in my foster home, I just pretend they’re not even there (unless they want to play of course)! 

I haven’t met many children, however the few I have met I did great with. I can be overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle of young children, so a slow introduction would be preferred for me. 

Now that I have all of my vaccines, I have loved going for walks! I walk very respectfully and have been learning to sit beside my foster mom to let other people pass without becoming too excited! 

I can be on the shyer side and I require a home that is going to help me work through this! I warm up to new situations very quickly and have been exploring lots of new places. In fact, my foster mom is something called a “trainer” and she is willing to offer a free session for my new family to help understand my strengths and weaknesses and how to work with me going forward! 

I am a spunky, cuddly pup who would love to love to be your adventure buddy and couch cuddler all in one.
