Hi I am Mama Ellen Griswold, matriarch of the National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation litter. I came into care just before Christmas with my 5 babies, Audrey, Ruby Sue, Rusty, Sparky & Rocky.  Thankfully they have all been adopted and I hope it’s my turn to find a forever home.

Foster mum says I am a sweetheart, and since my babies left I have been soaking up all the attention. I really like having all the toys to myself especially the ones with speakers! 

I am fully housetrained and love sitting outside to watch the squirrels, if you have a big back yard for me to play in that would be great. I do love walks but have to admit I really like to chase bunnies so we may need some more training. We have been working on my leash manners and have been using a harness not really sure about it yet but hopefully I will get the hang of it. 

I have been lucky to meet lots of people and even some dogs in the neighborhood and I love them all. My doggie pal Ryley is fun to go walking with, but I can get very excited and sometimes he tells me to calm down. I still think it might be pretty cool to have a doggie brother or sister to show me the ropes. I have not had the pleasure of meeting any cats, I have tried to chase one or two so a cautious introduction would be required. 

I really don’t like when I have to go in the kennel it makes me very scared but I am trying. I also get nervous when I am left home all by myself, but I know we are working on that too. For this reason I feel it would be best to have an experienced dog owner, perhaps somebody that is working from home so you can help me adjustment to my new surroundings and work on some anxiety I have.

I don’t think I am best suited to apartment/condo living.

I am a very good girl at night and allowed to decide where to sleep, sometimes on the couch, but I usually prefer the floor beside foster mum.
