Hi, I’m Delilah. My foster mom calls me DeeDee. If you’re looking for a silly pup, I’m your gal! My foster mom is constantly giggling at my goofiness and amazed at my agility and cleverness.

I am a special girl, looking for a special home. I came from a place where there were a lot of us pups and we didn’t get a lot of one on one human interaction. I’ve been working on my trust with humans and I’ve come leaps and bounds from the first day I arrived. I let my foster parents pick me up and love to show my belly for a belly rub. My little nub of a tail rarely stops wagging while you’re paying attention to me. I will come up to give anyone a sniff or lick and then I’ll run back to my bed, almost like a little game. 

I get soooo excited at treat time, and I’ll take anything you give me. I may not eat it, but I will take it and bury it in my dog bed. 

I currently live with three dogs of different sizes and they’re cool to learn from and have around to help build my confidence. I haven’t started playing with them, but my foster mom thinks that eventually I will. I haven’t met any cats, but I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t bother me. 

I require a secure yard or dog run when I go out to do my business as I scare quite easily. I am kennel trained, in fact I love my kennel, it’s my comfort zone. I am housetrained too. Car rides and walks are not quite my thing, I prefer the comfort of home.

I love toys, especially squeaky ones! I’m pretty quiet, and have only barked a handful of times- even when the rest of the gang are barking, I sit quietly. I am so mischievous and clever I am bound to keep you entertained!

I may never be a true lapdog, but I am great company nonetheless. Do you have room in your heart and home for me?
