My name is DARLENE, and I’d love to tell you a little about myself! 

My life motto is play hard and sleep hard! I love playing with my sister and foster brother!! I love toys, chase and especially love my kiddie pool!  

I tend to jump up a lot, and am working hard to control my excitement but sometimes I can’t help myself.  I do really like food and it’s helping me learn quickly.  I have already mastered sit! 

My foster home does have a cat as well, I am respectful of her but sometimes my excitement is a bit much for her, but in time I think we’d all be best friends. 

We are working on housetraining but will need some patience as I master this!  I haven’t slept in a kennel and my foster mom is home all day so I may need some time to adjust to a kennel but I’ll learn.  

I haven’t gotten to explore the world much, as I still need vaccines I’m told! when I meet new people or am in new situations I am timid but once I feel safe I am lots of fun!  I promise puppy kisses and puppy bites (my foster mom keeps telling me she doesn’t like the puppy bites so I will keep working on this!!)

My foster mom also said I should include I may not be best suited for an apartment or condo, as I really like to talk!  I like talking when I’m happy and will let you know when I’m not happy, so please consider this when choosing me. 
My foster mom says I really am the sweetest girl!  I love my people, love watching them and being close to them. 

I am eager to learn and would love someone to show me the world, cause I deserve it!  If you have room for me in your heart and home, I’d love to meet you!
