I may not be the fastest runner or be able to do hardcore hikes, but having only three legs does not slow me down! And hey, maybe you can negotiate 25% off nail trims!

My post-op recovery was spent at a kids’ camp and I loved it! I had so much fun hanging out with the kids, meeting new people and exploring new places. My foster mom bought me a carrier so I did some hikes with her and even went on a pontoon boat! I was able to do a few hours at a time in the kennel when my foster mom wasn’t able to bring me to activities. I can do about half a day, but I am still little so I am not ready to be kennelled a full day yet.

If you are taking me outside regularly and watching for my cues, I am pretty much house-trained, but please expect an accident here or there.

I like playing with my foster mom’s 2-year-old nephew and his 9-month-old dog. So needless to say I am good with kids and other dogs. I have not spent significant time with a cat, but I saw one at the vet and I was curious and cautious.

I have a BIG personality and am very confident and sassy. I am quite talkative and can be loud with my barking, (there must be husky in me), so I might not be a good fit for someone living in an apartment. I am still learning my boundaries with my senior canine foster sister. I just want to play, but she isn’t into that, and my foster mom needs to sometimes stop me from pestering her. I would love another dog sibling or friend who has the energy to play with me.

I am also quite nippy for a puppy, but my foster mom is hoping that now that my stitches are out and I am allowed to run around and play- I will be able to blow off more steam and be less nippy.

Despite my typical puppy antics, I am very sweet and easygoing. I am looking for a family who will take me on adventures and who are social- because believe me….I am so cute, I attract A LOT of attention.
