Hi guys! My name is Checkers! I am a rambunctious, fun boy who loves food and treats. 

I am working on being housetrained and I do sleep in a kennel at night with my sister, Chess. I am pretty good in there. I would much rather cuddle up with you though! Did I mention I love to cuddle?! 
I am good with dogs and I like cats but I do bark at them. I promise I’m just playing, I just want to have fun! I have never met kids before but my foster parents are sure I would love them too. Just be mindful, I love to explore with my teeth and mouth. 

Going outside is not my favourite thing. Sometimes it is just too cold for me! But I will go out if you come and play with me. I am pretty chatty and will let you know if I would like to go inside. I love fur things and enjoy stealing my foster parent’s shoes to nibble on as a tasty snack! 
I am a brave, feisty little guy who would love to snuggle with you and make you laugh. Will you be my forever family?
