ADOPTION PENDING – NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLCATIONS

Hi! I’m Captain Kirk, a little pup with a big personality. Both my parents were medium sized dogs so I don’t think I’ll get very big. My voice is big though! I have a funny howl/bark that has a woo woo sound.

I enjoy chewing on sticks and bones and hands. I love to wrestle and annoy the big dogs and cats I live with. Having a fun loving, patient dog or cat in my forever home would be great. No old or cranky animals though, I will for sure drive them nuts. Little kids? I know I’d enjoy playing with them but I am still learning my manners. I am in that stage that all puppies go through. I nip and bite. Parents, if you can be patient and train me using positive methods and train your kids to be dog savvy, I think we could all get along! If not, don’t even consider me.

I’m not completely house trained. Kennel trained? Kind of but I haven’t spent much time in one lately. I sleep with my foster mom and free roam the house. I walk well on a leash but my recall needs a lot of work. I get so distracted by all the smells outdoors I don’t always hear my name being called. I am small and can easily hide and squeeze through small gaps in the fence! Don’t take your eyes off me or I’ll be gone!

When I’m tired I am the best snuggler! When I’m not tired I am a hoot to be around! Very mischievous but so much fun! I’m a party in a fur package! A little sassy firecracker! Am I the excitement that’s missing in your life?
