Hi, I’m Brie and I’m a stick-a-holic!
I always like to have a supply of sticks and bones close by. Leaving the house sprinkled with wood chips is one of my many talents. I also steal shoes and socks to nibble on when my stick and bone supply are low.

I’m playful and like most young dogs I have energy. But once I’ve tired myself out, I love nothing more than to snuggle up beside my human for a snooze. I am learning about personal space. I’m very curious and enjoy jumping up to see what you’re doing/eating. Some people don’t mind but for the ones who do, be patient. I am learning! Foster mom isn’t always as consistent as she should be with my training. I like games and activities that tire me out mentally as much as I love running around outside.

Kennel trained? No, I’m spoiled and sleep on a human bed. Housetrained? Yes, but if you ignore my cue to go outside, well, don’t say I didn’t warn you. But this doesn’t happen often.

I’ve lived with dogs and cats since I came into rescue as a young pup. Foster mom would like me to have another dog buddy as I’m used to always having company. But maybe if my forever family/human was active, let me have doggie playdates and wouldn’t leave me alone for long periods I could get used to being an only dog. The few times I have been left alone, I howl very loudly and I really do need a yard so no apartments for me.
