Hello! I’m Bloor from the Toronto Street litter! My siblings and I were born in the roof of a house on Toronto St in Winnipeg’s West End, and then heroically rescued by Feral Friends Sanctuary and Manitoba Mutts. My brother Danforth and I have spent the last two weeks in a foster home – serendipitously also on Toronto Street!
It didn’t take me long to decide that the indoor life is the life for me! At first I was nervous around humans, but once I learned they’re the ones who bring the snacks, I warmed up to them pretty quickly. After a day or two I granted my foster family the privilege of petting me. After a week I stopped sticking out my little claws when they picked me up. And as of a couple of days ago I’ve started curling up beside them on the couch for Netflix. I am well on my way to being a sweet, cuddly house cat.
I’m super-playful and I love to climb! (I was born in a roof, after all). I’d love to go to a home with a cat tree, but chairs, tables, stacks of boxes – anything tall will do! I also love to tumble and wrestle with my brother and I think I would do great in a home with another kitty. I haven’t met any dogs yet but I’m a brave little dude so I think I could be a good sport if needed.
I’m litter-trained and a good eater, and my tiny little squeak of a meow will make you laugh every time you hear it. Couldn’t we all use a little laughter in our lives right now? Why not take me home?
