Hi there! Officially, my name is Beans but I have a lot of nicknames! Mr. Beans, Beanie Baby, Beano, JellyBeans, the list goes on.

I’m very curious and love to explore and play, but my very favourite thing in the world is snuggling up to my people for a cuddle and some pets. I’m a very brave boy and have no hesitation meeting new people or exploring new environments. I’ll come right over and chat you up and rub against your legs to get a head scratch or a belly rub. Pick me up and I instantly become a wet noodle. Sit on the couch and I’m right there with you, resting my head in your lap, gazing up at you with my huge orange eyes while I purr myself to sleep.

I also LOVE food!! Wet food, dry food, any kind of cat food is amazing and I will inhale it! Foster mom says being food motivated makes me an excellent cat because you can get me to do almost anything for a snack! And don’t worry, I’m excellent at using my litter box.

When I was taken in by MMDR, I had a large bite wound on my … uh… lower back. Ok, it was on my butt. Anyway, I had a surgery right away to repair the wound and I’m all better now! You might just notice a scar where they did the surgery, and my fur in the area hasn’t all grown back yet. I haven’t met any dogs or other cats while in care, and we have no idea how I’ll get along with your resident pets, so a slow intro would be much appreciated!
