Hi! I am Scarlett!

I’m a beautiful fun-loving girl who is very much a people dog; I like to be everywhere you are to be your little helper if you let me. I am very good outside and never stray too far from you on my unfenced property. I’m loving the new snow and my time outdoors as long as you are out there with me.

I am a pretty smart girl who is eager to learn and I pick up new tricks quickly; so far I sit, shake, down, roll-over, most of the time and crawl, still learning that one as well as staying even though sometimes, I get so excited for that yummy treat in your hand. I love retrieving the ball and do bring it back to you but sometimes not as I want you to play keep-away with me. My favourite game is tug-a-war with you which I think we are doing when you click that thing you call a leash on me but I am getting better with it but still in learning mode and they do say Practice makes Perfect and I will get there in time.

I have not met any dogs yet but I’m sure I would love them as I am such a playful girl who loves everyone and everything around me. I do live with 2 cats who love dogs and are my constant play buddies who love to play and wrestle just as much as I do so if you have dog-savvy cats in your home, I would be in my glory OR an active dog to play with and teach me the ropes.

I have loved the people I have met thus far and loved the girl I met also so would be good with children but just have to be careful with little ones as, like all puppies, I have very sharp teeth.

I am about fully house-trained. I prefer to go outside to do all my business as long as you go out with me. I go to the door quietly but if you don’t happen to see me, I will use the paper in my room as I usually wait until the last moment. Typical puppy! If you take me out on a regular basis, I will have no accidents. Just a note, I haven’t had an accident on the floor in a long time.

I am fully crate trained and stay quiet and dry until you let me out in the morning. I will go in willingly with a treat and settle very quickly.
