Hi. I’m Tanuki.
I’m an active, fun girl who loves to play with toys, dig in the dirt and hide under things especially the couch. My foster mom says I won’t be able to do that much longer because I am growing. I also like to bark when I want to eat or get excited so an
apartment might not be a good place for me.

I am working on housetraining and doing quite well but I’m still young.

I sleep in a crate at night but once I’m awake, get me out! I still need to work on being in my crate when my foster parents go out, right now I just bark and howl, so I still need crate training. I love to sleep at your feet or under the coffee table when I have a nap.

✅ I am great with other dogs! I love to play with my canine foster sister and we like to wrestle!

I am good with kids but have had limited visits with them.

I bark at my cat foster sister until she hides, but I might get along with other cats with a slow introduction (Mom says she is a grumpy cat)!

I think I will love going for walks because I love to explore but I need more vaccines first. I have practiced in the yard and don’t mind the leash.

I am a happy active girl who would love to make you laugh.

🎓BIG UPDATE: My foster family is taking me to ‘The Back to Basics’ training class with 865 dog training! I’m so smart!
