Hi. I’m Stan.  I’m a goofy, loveable, friendly, easy going pup. I love following you around the house to see what you’re up to. I currently will sit near or under my foster Mom’s work chair and just snooze or play quietly with my toys while she works. I love having my belly rubbed ever since I was a little pup and it usually calms me down right away. 

I was doing really well on house training, however, I’ve had a couple of accidents in the house recently. I don’t know how to signal to my family that I need to go out so sometimes they don’t catch it in time. I would love to learn how to use a bell or something similar to go out as I do not bark or whine to let you know. 

I sleep well beside my foster humans at night and do not chew on anything I shouldn’t. I just sometimes steal the pillows to sleep on. During the day I go in the kennel for short periods of time and it takes me awhile to settle down because it’s not my favourite thing. 

I am good with younger kids like my human foster brothers. I do still jump cause I’m still a pup, but I’m really very gentle with them and play a little softer with them. 

I’m also good with other dogs! There’s an older dog sharing my home right now and I just give her the space she wants and only try to play when she wants to. 

I have never met a cat, but I am sure I would like them.

I am an active boy who loves going for walks and runs but I need practice on the leash. I get really excited and want to walk faster so I do pull a bit.  I would absolutely love some room to run and would really enjoy being off leash at a dog park where I could burn all my energy. A large fenced yard would be ideal! 

I am a fun guy who would love to be your pal and keep you company and I am really looking for my forever family!  Is that you?
