Hi, I’m Slinky! New year, new me, new bio, but still ridiculously handsome! I’ve been working really hard on my good boy skills and have made great progress! I’m still an energetic young guy, but I’m learning to focus my energy on training, zoomies and amusing myself with all the great toys in my foster home. My foster family says I’m pure happiness and fun, and a major goofball!

I’m house trained and crate trained. I’m working on leash training, but still need a lot of help with my leash manners because everything in life is so exciting to me!

I’m great with cats and dogs, but need a little guidance when it comes to understanding their signals when they’re trying to communicate with me. I would absolutely love it if you have a young dog who loves to play! I also love people and adore kids, but I’m a little jumpy so would be best with little ones over 8. 

I’m not a fan of watching my humans get ready to go out and will react by whining and barking when I see you leaving. I’ll go in my crate and munch on the treats you leave me, it’s just knowing you’re leaving and watching you leave that breaks my heart ❤️‍🩹. The good thing is, within seconds after you leave I calm down and relax in my crate while you’re out! And, of course, I’m super happy to see you when you get home!
