Hi everyone! I am Sinatra!

I’ve been hanging out here in Gimli for awhile now waiting for my furever family but there has just been no interest in meeting me. During that time I have gotten bigger and obviously so have my ears.

I am a handsome energetic boy who loves to play with my toys and do zoomies around the yard. I get along great with my canine foster sister and my 2 feline foster bros; I can be quite boisterous with the cats sometimes so they go outside into their catio until I calm down. I would love to have a home with another playful dog like myself and if you have cats, its best they be very dog savvy and playful like my bros here.

I get so happy and excited when I meet people and still learning not to jump up on people and to sit nice; it may take me a bit but I do eventually settle down. For this reason, maybe I would not be a fit in a home with young toddlers at this time.

I am a talker and can be quite loud when I’m playing with my foster sister or waiting for you to get my supper ready because you are taking too long! I like to sing with my foster sister on occasion. For this reason, apartments or condos would not be a good fit.

I am fully housetrained and will sleep all night until you get up in the morning; I’m OK if you want to sleep in that extra hour or so. I will go to the door to go out but if you don’t see me and come to let me out, I will come sit in front of you and tell you to let me out.

I am not crate trained. I have had anxiety from a very early age with being locked in a crate or pen. My foster parents are always home and usually crate train all their foster pups but they worked with me on another option with an open door crate in their bedroom at night so we all could get some sleep. Now that I am housetrained I have now full rein of the house all day and night with no issues. They have left the house and left me loose in the house a few times and nothing was amiss in the house and no bathroom accidents. One day, my foster parents had to go to city and be gone for over 6 hrs and I did excellent with nothing amiss and I did use the pee pad (I hadn’t used one in quite awhile) once.

The only time I use the crate now is for my meals as I live with 3 slow eaters and no patience to let them finish eating.
I don’t like to stray too far from my humans sight so expect me to follow you everywhere inside and outside. I am a couch potato so I will gladly snuggle beside you on the couch or the bed when it’s that time. I have started going for walks and doing OK but still need some practice. I don’t really like going outside after dark without you; too many weird noises which make me a bit nervous. I would love if I had a work from home family or someone not away from home for long periods of time.

So, who would love an active and sassy puppy like me? We could go on so many adventures together and would gladly love the chance to show you what a good loyal boy I am? Hope to see you soon!
