Hi, my name is Rogue!

I absolutely love to be outside and play especially in the snow during the winter!

I love car rides, dog parks and anything to do with people or playing with other doggies!

I still need some work on the leash as sometimes when I see something exciting like a bird or squirrel I pull. I know how to wait for my food and best of all I’m a really big girl who knows not to jump on new people!

I love all kinds of food – banana, cucumber, cantaloupe, honeydew, carrots and I really like plain Timbits. I am very smart and food motivated and with a bit more training, I think I’d be a pretty amazing best friend.

I LOVE friends of all shapes and sizes;

adults, cats, dogs and kids, however sometimes I can get a little too excited with younger kids (I’m still learning). I would love a home where I have a doggie friend who loves to play.

As I grew, my fosters realized I was having problems with potty training and after numerous vet visits, we learned that I do have some medical issues. I went on a big trip to Calgary and they learned that I have an anatomical anomaly through a CT scan and cystoscopy. I have what’s called a “pelvic bladder” meaning it is short/small, my ureters are also at an unusual angle and all of this causes me to not quite be able to hold my bladder and I will have accidents sometimes, especially when I am excited.

This is not something that can be fixed by surgery. I am currently taking medication and I will be waiting till 1 year of age to be spayed so that I hopefully develop my muscles a bit more.

I will wear a diaper but it takes a little finagling to get it on. I also can hold my bladder overnight and don’t make a peep in my kennel! With a proper routine and learning my cues, my accidents can be minimized. Ideally, a home with a doggie door that I have constant access to would be perfect.

Due to my medical issues, my adoption fee is sponsored and If you have any questions about them, my awesome friends on the vetting team will be able to answer your questions!

Despite my medical issues I promise I am SO SO SO WORTH IT as I am a really good girl who loves to give kisses, cuddle and play all the time.

If you’re looking for a sweet but sassy best friend, someone who likes long walks, car rides and ALL the cuddles.. I’m your gal and I promise you won’t be sorry if you take a chance on me!
