Hi! My name is Polaris and I am from the Skygazer litter. I am a spunky girl who loves her people and doggy pals.

I do well with respecting my senior canine foster sister and I love to play with my 6-month-old canine friend. We run around the yard and wrestle like crazy! I visited my foster mom’s grade one class and did great with the kids there. I have also been around a 2-year-old and find him interesting. Of course, with young kids, they will need to be able to handle my puppy energy and occasional jumping and licking.

I haven’t been with cats for almost 2 months now, but I am sure if they are dog-savvy, I will like them just fine.

I am almost house-trained- but still have an accident here and there. My foster mom says she is impressed with how good I am in the kennel. I will hang out in there calmly, without complaining and I will sleep in the kennel through the night. Since I am still young, I would still need a midday pee break if you are kenneling me for a whole workday, but soon enough I will be good!

I like to play outside if someone or another dog is with me and I am starting to learn how to walk on a leash. I am nervous in new places and the street especially worries me, but with practice, I will build my confidence. I do better in new situations when I have a dog buddy to learn from. By the time the snow melts, I will be fully vaccinated and ready to go on all sorts of adventures!

When I am playing in the house, I like to chase balls and toys, and then play “keep away”. I also have fun with chew toys, socks and shredding paper. You know, the typical puppy antics.

After a good play, I like to snuggle (especially with foster grandpa) or fall asleep on a dog bed.
