ADOPTION PENDING – NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS

Hi. I am Manta from the Ecuadorian litter. I am a very relaxed and cuddly boy. 

I am a little cautious, but once we get to know each other I will cuddle up in your lap anytime you sit on the floor. In fact, seeing people in the morning is my favorite part of the day.  I love to play tug of war, and really enjoy finding any socks or mittens you may leave on the floor or where I can reach them – especially any that are soft or furry!

I am still just a baby and so am working on house training. I am happy to go outside, and learning to tell my foster family when I need to go to the bathroom. Inside the house I am getting better at remembering to use puppy training pads.  I am not crate trained, but I do sleep in a puppy pen with my sister Loja and am used to having my own place to sleep and spend time while my foster family is busy. Like most puppies, I sometimes get so excited to see and play with people that I try to put them in my mouth. I am very gentle though, and am learning fast not to do that through distraction with toys and firm words.

I don’t have any experience with cats, but I am sure I would love them (I may be a little more scared of them at the start than they would be of me). I have been living with children and have made a great friend for them.  

I am a very happy and loving puppy who would love to cuddle up with your family. Is there room for me in your family?
