Hi! My name is Magnífico.  I am ten months old, neutered and housebroken. I love to play with my toys, my people and my dog siblings. I am learning not to pull on the leash and not be reactive to other dogs on my walks. I love to meet new people, but I am uncertain about new dogs, so I still react to them. I am rambunctious and active, so I will do best in a home where I have playmates to keep me busy. Also, keep in mind I am very used to my foster family by now and may need extra time to adapt to a new home and new family. 

I am very smart and loyal, and I learn fast. My foster parents continue to teach me to play with toys, not hands, and not to jump when I am excited. I like to engage in play with my mouth and I jump on people when excited. I would do really well on activities that require mind and body exercise, like agility! I love to run!

I am very vocal and I am still learning recall – did I say I am smart? Yes, I will consider whether to come to you when you call; depends on what is happening and if there is something in it for me! 😉 Apartment style living is not well suited for me. 

I don’t sleep in a crate as I am so happy sleeping either on or under my people’s bed, but the couch, a mat, or a dog bed also do just as well for me. 

I like to play fetch, soccer, and chew my squeaky toys. And I have been known for digging a little around the yard…  I’m learning how good it is to cuddle with my people and I will ask for love and affection and give it back in so many kisses! I am okay on short car rides, but during longer trips I throw up, as I don’t know how to properly ride in a car yet and get very nauseated.
