Awoooooo! 

I’m Katie and I’m a loving but needy husky. I use my howl to let you know when I want something, particularly when I get excited. 

I really love playing with other dogs and haven’t had an issue with one yet. I’m also great with kids, even babies, but I have a strong prey drive, so I shouldn’t be in a home with cats or other rodents. I really love toys, but I get bored easily, so I’ll need a large selection, and they better be heavy duty. I’ve recently learned how to find my toys in the toy bin and I love it! 

I’m housetrained and kennel trained. I stay in the kennel when my foster parents are away during the day, and as long as they give me a chew or a kong, I’ll go in hassle free and stay quiet all day! I sleep on my dog bed in my foster mom’s room and generally sleep through the night really well. 

I pull on the leash, but with a halti, I walk very well. I love to jump, and my foster family is fairly certain I could jump their 4-foot fence, so a tall fence would be required in my yard. We’ve been working on my recall and generally it’s pretty good, but when I decide not to listen, I can be naughty for awhile before coming back to them. 

Overall, I’m an awesome dog who will make you laugh every day. If you’re ready for a husky with an attitude and a heart of gold then I’m sure we’ll get along just fine!
