Hello, I’m Elma! I am a loving rambunctious girl who loves to play! I came into care as a solo puppy who was found on the road by some RCMP officers – but it hasn’t slowed down my socialization at all. I love to play with cats (even though not all love me back ☹️), dogs and even smaller humans! I am very good at making sure that I go to the bathroom on the pad thing. Or to go pee in the jungle (I think the humans call it a backyard?).

When it’s time for bed or the humans disappear I usually will cry for a few minutes before I calm myself and usually end up falling asleep! I stay in a kennel all night (9-6/7) and lately there’s been no mess in the kennel in the morning! I am still very small so my baby teeth haven’t fallen out yet, which means I love to chew! I can usually be redirected to a toy when I start to get nippy and I love treats!

I do not have all my shots so my exposure to walking on that rope thing hasn’t been more than walking around with it attached to me in the jungle! I know how to sit and come to my name, and I’m also working on how to lie down and stay. I love to cuddle when I finally get tired of running around and will fall asleep basically anywhere.

I’m a sweet girl who is looking for a family to love me and teach me how to be “man’s best friend”.
