Hello, my name is Ciri and I’m a lick-a-holic… If you don’t like puppy kisses you should probably move on as I love attention, A LOT!

I came into care and they thought I was pregnant, turned out I wasn’t (thankfully) so now it’s time to find my forever home. I’m a spunky girl who LOVES stuffed toys, ropes and Nylabones. I am learning that shoes are not to chew on, so you better put them away just in case I forget.

I currently live with 3 canines (XS, S and M sized). I am clumsy with my playing and love to boop my foster siblings on the head or try to jump on top, so smaller or senior dogs are not a good fit for me, but I think I would really benefit from playful canine friend to keep my confidence up.

I also live with a cat, and at first I wasn’t too keen on him so I stared and growled, but I got over that after a week or so. I now like to follow him around the house, I think it’s my herding instinct, but he just ignores me. It may be best that I don’t live with a feline, unless they are dog savvy.

I am fully housetrained and I don’t mind being in a kennel. I might chew on things I shouldn’t if left out, so it would be best if I am kennelled or in a puppy proof room when left alone. I am a dream on a leash, but if it gets wrapped around my legs I do a little bucking bronco impression.

I am a bit nervous when walking by parked cars, possibly because I don’t like car rides (I drool and have thrown up) and if we walk close to one you might be putting me inside… I need to be secured while in the car or I will jump into your lap while you’re driving.

I haven’t met kids while in care, but I apparently did when I was a stray and my rescuers said I liked them.

If you are looking for an excitable, loving and constant lap dog, then I’m you’re girl!

Please note: I’m being fostered in Steinbach, but you know what they say, it’s worth the trip!
