Hi, I’m Oliver! I’m a very sweet little dude looking for my forever home. I love catnip, cuddles, and people of all kinds! I’m a very easygoing guy and the staff at all the vet clinics have loved me, even though I make it almost impossible for them to hear my heart and breathing over my constant deafening purrs.
I have a mysterious past and was picked up as a stray with a few injuries. I had some cuts and scrapes- likely from tousles with other stray cats- but despite this I’m very respectful of the other cat in my house, even though she has strong negative opinions about having a foster brother. I haven’t met any dogs here and I’d really appreciate a slooooow intro to any pets you’ve got, since not all the other animals I’ve met in my life have been friendly.
The most noticeable of my old injuries is my tail… or… lack thereof. I’m missing most of it. This was already healed when I was rescued so nobody knows what happened to it and I’ll never tell! It’s really an endearing, quirky little tail. You’re gonna love it. I’m always sticking it straight up and wiggling it when I’m happy or excited.
I adjusted to my new foster home very quickly and confidently, but I do have one huge fear. I’m absolutely terrified that I’ll spontaneously become invisible. When you come home I have to make sure you know I’m here! I can hold a single meow for approximately 1 year. I just keep on going until you acknowledge my presence with a quick head scratch and then my relief is palpable and the purrs can begin again. Then I just want to be near you so I’ll walk around beside you very respectfully until you’ve finished your human things and have time to cuddle.
I’m also a fantastic litter box user and I don’t scratch things that aren’t supposed to be scratched.
Anyway, I’ve taken up enough of your time! Thanks for reading my whole bio and I can’t wait to meet you!
