Hello! We are Newman & Orville from the Popcorn litter, a beautiful bonded pair of tortie sisters! We hope you don’t mind, but we’ve prepared a short presentation on why you should consider adopting two cats:

– Twice the purrs and cuddles

– One kitty for each foot when your tootsies are cold

– Very funny when we awkwardly try to fight each other through a door

– Two tortoiseshell loafs staring at you from atop your cupboard is better than one

– Deep personal satisfaction in keeping two best friends together for life

We do come as a set, and we have been known to gang up on other cats, so it’s best if we go to a home without other cats so we can be the centre of your universe. We do like kids though! We have not lived with dogs so it is unknown how we will react to them. 

We love to play with toys, climb cat trees (or cupboards), and sit together on the windowsill chattering at birds. We will get those birds one day…

Orville (female): I am the more outgoing sister- a top-notch snuggler who always wants to be around people.

Newman (female): I am a bit slower to come out of my shell, but in the two weeks we’ve been in our foster home, I have gotten a little braver each day. I have started to climb onto my human’s lap while she’s typing, and I occasionally sit on her desk during Zoom meetings.

We are both litter-trained and we’re not picky eaters. We can also be quite self-sufficient if you’re one of those people who sometimes leaves the house. Our friendship is unshakable and we pass many hours together wrestling, sunbathing, or napping like two side-by-side logs.
