Hi, I’m Circe, and I wrote a song about you and me! It goes like this:

“You touch me and I purr-rrr.. I touch you and I purr-rrr.. you pick-me-up and I purr-rrr.. I pick you…” Wait…. That doesn’t work, hehe!!

Anyway, “They” say black cats are often overlooked. But what if I told you I’m named after a Greek mythology enchantress with amber eyes, because I’d say that’s pretty cool! She also, OBVIOUSLY, had amazing songwriting skills too!

Although I was found alone in a park at six weeks of age, I like humans very much! I’m adjusting to indoor life very well, I use the litterbox like a pro and I’m learning about scratching posts and pads. I eat wet and dry food, yum!!!!

As far as the enchantress part goes…. I’m perfecting my gift using my purrs when I choose your lap or chest for a snooze. I think I will like to sleep in the big bed with you too! My foster mom says I’m “pretty chill” for a kitten my age, I love little mouse toys and wand toys, and of course, playing with my cat foster siblings; wrestling and running around is so fun!

At my age it would be best if I have a cat or dog playmate so I continue to learn to be gentle and not cause trouble. I haven’t met a dog yet but if you can introduce me slowly I will probably like a dog! I have met a human toddler and I liked her very much as long as I’m not forced to cuddle when I just really want to run and play!
