Hello! My name is Beatrice, and boy do I have a story for you. 

I can’t even tell you how long I’ve been a stray, but my vet and foster momma think it’s been 6-8 years, so that must be how old I am. 

Over those years I’ve been a tough cookie, but I’ve struggled with some health issues, mainly chronic ear infections. My ears must have gotten so bad it caused some permanent hearing loss, however the infections are all cleared up now and I shouldn’t have anymore issues with them! I may even regain more and more hearing over time, but for now just give me a gentle heads up or I can get a little startled. 

Something else I’ve been batting all alone out there is a very mild case of diabetes. Good news though! It can be controlled by my diet alone, no needles! Yay! As long as I’m eating a food specific for diabetic kitties, I feel healthy as a horse. My favourite is the Purina DM kibble. 

Even though I’ve had a tough start to life, I’m one of the most affectionate girls you’ll ever meet. All I want to do is follow my foster momma around, get pets and snuggle up on the couch. 

I do have a playful side too! After all, I have years of playing to make up for. I love climbing up the big cat tree and batting around balls and toys. 

My kitty foster siblings have been hesitant to play with me, but I have no issues with them! And my doggy foster brothers are awesome! I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting any kids, but if they’re good at cuddling.. you can count me in!

When I first came into rescue I had no idea what litter box was, I don’t think I’d ever seen one before, but now I use it every time like a champ!
