Director Rebecca Norman and Board Member Sara Robinson founded Manitoba Mutts Dog Rescue in January, 2011. Manitoba Mutts is a volunteer run non-profit organization based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

MMDR Milestones:

January 2011 – Manitoba Mutts Dog Rescue was founded

October 2012 – The beginning of Share A Mutt Monday with Energy 106 fm

January 2013 – The launch of 50 bags in 50 hours program

March 2013 – The Super Troopers program was started

February 2014 – The launch of Get Fixed Manitoba

April 2014 – Over 1,000 members in MMDR’s Alumni group on Facebook

May 2014 – 16,000 likes on MMDR’s Facebook page

May 2014 – Manitoba Mutts Board of Directors was founded

Sept 2014- 18,000 likes on MMDR’s Facebook page

Nov 2014- MMDR’s new logo was released

June 2015- 22,000 likes on MMDR’s Facebook page

Oct 2015- MMDR becomes charitable!
