Introducing the super cute, energetic and playful little Flute (AKA Flutsie, Flutsy poo, Fluteness Everdeen and FluticusMaximus)

Flute is a silly lady with a big personality; she loves falling asleep beside you and exploring the hiding spots in the backyard. She knows outside is the place to do her business (but has the occasional accident inside!) and is slowly getting comfortable with longer walks around the neighbourhood. Her next goal is to make friends with new people and animals that pass by the house.

Though small, Flute has the supernatural ability to take up the entire couch when she naps. She’s also mastered sleeping anywhere, including her kennel at bedtime. Each day Flute gets more comfortable with staying in the kennel when her foster family steps out during the day, as long as there’s treats involved!

The way to Flute’s heart is through her stomach, she loves chews and loves to test her skills with several treat puzzle boxes and kongs. She’s a seriously smart girl and has mastered basic commands such as sitting, lying down and shaking a paw.

After a long, restful sleep Flute becomes an energetic blur as she runs through the yard (and in the house). She’s taken up parkour as a pastime but also enjoys playing with squeaky toys and is learning to bring the ball back after you throw it. Although she hasn’t had much exposure to other pets, she would enjoy a playmate (human or animal) to help burn off her puppy energy.

One special thing about Flute is that she cannot distinguish the running bath from a boiling pit of lava but can be soothed during bathtime with a snack and lots of affection.

Overall, Flute is a certified cutie patootie and once you gain her trust, she will be the most loyal and affectionate girl you’ve ever met!
