Hi! My name is Sloth and I’m a playful, goofy little guy who’s looking for my forever family! 💙

My absolute favorite thing in the world is following my BIG foster siblings around all day. If they’re playing, I’m playing! If they’re running, I’m running! I would absolutely love a home with another playful dog who wants a best friend to wrestle, chase and play tug with from sunrise to bedtime.

I’m fully housetrained and fully crate trained! Sometimes when my people leave, I get a little sad and might cry for a few minutes but I promise I will settle down quickly. At bedtime, I happily sleep in my kennel all night without making a peep until it’s time for my morning potty break. My foster mom says I’m such a good boy! 

One more little thing: when I get really excited to see my favorite people, I might do a tiny happy pee. It’s just because my excitement gets the best of me, not because I don’t know where to go potty. My foster mom has learned that calm greetings help me do my best and taking me straight outside when she gets home helps.

I’m great with dogs and cats, although I do have one tiny confession… I seem to think cat trees are actually dog trees 😅. You’ll probably find me climbing right to the very top to curl up for a nap! So if you have cat friends, you may want to give them a little warning that I might borrow their favorite spot.

I haven’t met any kids yet but my foster mom thinks I’d be a very sweet companion for them. I’m still learning that excited puppies shouldn’t grab hands when they’re ready to play. Sometimes I get SO excited that I forget my manners! The good news is that I’m learning every day and my foster mom says I’m doing an excellent job remembering to grab a toy instead. I’m a smart little guy who just needs a bit of practice and maybe a few reminders.

I haven’t gone on many walks yet because I just finished getting all my vaccines but the few times I’ve been on a leash I’ve done really well! I can’t wait to explore the world with my future family.

One of my favorite things ever is being picked up and carried around while you do chores around the house or work outside. I’ll happily ask for “uppies” and repay you with LOTS of kisses! 💕

Oh! My foster mom keeps telling me I’m missing an eye… honestly, I hadn’t even noticed! It certainly doesn’t slow me down one bit. Just toss my ball from my good side and we’ll be playing together in no time.

I’m a happy, energetic and incredibly loving little guy who gets excited about absolutely everything. Whether it’s adventures, walks, playtime, cuddles or simply hanging out with my people, I’m all in.
