Hi, I’m Lainey! I am a big, easygoing, fun-loving girl who loves to lie next to my people, chew on my toys and maybe sneak in a couple kisses!

I am fully housetrained, but am still working on kennel training. I don’t mind being in the kennel with the door open, but I get really anxious, whining and drooling, when left alone with the door closed. I do have some anti-anxiety meds that have been helping me relax as I learn that the kennel is a safe space. 

I am good with cats and dogs. Dog savvy cats may be best, as I’m going to be a big girl and don’t quite know my size when trying to play with my cat buddies in my foster home. I’ve only briefly met some kids and I think I would do great in a home with some! I am very gentle, even with food involved!

I haven’t been for any walks yet as I’m still waiting on my second round of shots but I am going to need some help learning that harnesses and leashes are my friend. The few times I’ve been on one, I freeze rebelliously until I get picked up.. but pretty soon that’ll be difficult. 

I am an affectionate quirky pup who would love to make you laugh then curl up next to you!
