Hi! I’m Lau from the Vietnamese Food litter.

My personality is a combination of playful and sassy with a pinch of timid. I was very scared of people when I first came to rescue April 28. I am now very comfy with my foster people. I cuddle beside dad when he watches hockey. I love to sleep with my nose curled in mom’s hair. Meeting new people can be a little scary still. Give me some time and I’ll come see what you’re all about. Especially if you have treats!

The dogs and cats I live with have helped build my confidence. I play well with them all. It would be great if I had another furry buddy in my forever home.

I have a very loud voice and let you know when I’m upset, like when I’m left alone. Apartments and condos are not ideal for me. A fenced yard would be great as I love to play outside. I have been practicing leash walking in the yard and doing well.

I haven’t been crate-trained. I’m allowed loose in a portion of the house when mom is gone. A pee pad is left out for me to use. I am doing very well with going outdoors to potty. Not 100% trained but close!

Calm but still playful kids would be nice to be with. Kids who aren’t respectful of a dog’s space, no thanks.
