Hi! My name is Nanny. I’m the mama of the Goats litter! All of my babies have grown up and moved into homes of their own, so I guess you could say I’m retired!

I’m a very petite little cat. I was very scrawny after my babies were weaned because I didn’t keep a single calorie for myself, and I weighed in at about 6lbs. I’m up to 6.5lbs now and probably won’t get much bigger! Even my meow is teeny tiny. Sometimes it’s actually silent and I’ll just make a meow-face at you. But just to be clear, I’m asking for head scritches and food. In that order. Every time.

You might have noticed one of my ears is… well it’s also a bit petite. I had a little taste of winter weather before I was rescued and I hope I never have to do that again! My ear healed up fully and it doesn’t bother me one bit. I also had to have some teeth pulled when I was rescued, but I can eat just fine! No problems in that department! My doctors recommend dental food for me and regular cleanings so I never have to lose any more.

I’m finding retirement extremely fulfilling. There are so many things that need to be done! Toys that need to be played with, scratching posts that need to be scratched, birds that need to be chattered at, and – MOST importantly- food that needs to be consumed! I do a great job of entertaining myself with my toys when you’re not home, and I always make time to curl up next to you on the couch for a cuddle when you are.

I’ve lived with dogs before very successfully and haven’t been tested with cats, but I think with nice slow intros I could be a great addition to any home!
