Hi, my name is Winter, I came into care with my two sisters Moon & Yule all the way from Sanikiluaq, Nunavut. I am a spunky girl that loves being outside especially playing in the snow. I have finally mastered this potty training, foster mum calls me her little rock star because I can sleep a whole eight hours at night now. I still need some work with my kennel training, I understand it’s my safe place to sleep but I still cry sometimes when my humans leave me alone for too long. It took a little while to convince my canine foster brother Gizmo to play with me but now we are best buds! I have managed to acquire all the toys in the house and Gizmo is good with me sharing them. Since I love being outside, I have also met the neighbor dogs – it’s so much fun when we do zoomies together. I have not had the pleasure of meeting any cats yet but if they will play with me, I am sure we will get along just fine. We have started going on these things called walks they are a lot of fun, I got to meet lots of people and even played with some big dogs! Foster Mum says I am becoming such a big girl now cuz I figured out how to climb and I have started talking more. She says I need to learn how to be calm around food, so she has turned mealtimes into games but I’m not sure how I feel about that.
