Hi, I’m Tag! (aka Tagger, Small Fry)

From even before I came into rescue, I’ve been known as a lover, not a fighter! My foster mom calls me a potato sack of lava, I’m a girl who is SO happy to be loved. I have an absolute blast pulling out every toy, and squeaking them all so that my foster sis will join in the fun with me! 

I am working on housetraining and am doing really well, just the occasional accident, and usually on the tile floor (whew!). I have made huge progress in my crate training! I now climb into my kennel at bedtime and sleep through the night. As long as I know my peeps are right next to me, I’m in heaven. During the day, I also spend some time crated, alongside my foster sisters. I lead us in a gentle choir until we all take a nap break-I hope my sisters will continue their musical training after I leave for my forever home! 

I am good with dogs. In fact, I really love shadowing my (medium-sized) foster sister, and the best thing I can imagine will be to have a human or canine (or both!) who will be able to spend lots of quality time with me! I’m still getting used to being separated from my big family…I’m kinda uneasy to be left alone, but I’m getting comfier every day! Please be patient with me, as it might take a bit of time to settle into another new speed with my forever family. But OMG, it will be worth it for us all! 

I am already pretty big for my age, so I will need lots of supervision around small dogs/cats and small people until I’ve matured some and am in better control of this floppy body of mine! I haven’t had much experience with leashes, as I’m still too young to go for walks, but I will be ready to adventure and explore at our very first opportunity!

I am so excited to come home with you…to sit at your feet (or ON them, if that’s your jam!), to make you feel so loved and adored, and to have a soft bed in which to get my sweet little snore on!

I have my bags packed and am just waiting for you to arrive to take me home… I CANNOT wait, can YOU?
