ADOPTION PENDING – NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
Hi there, my name is Felicity, but my foster family calls me Lizzie.  

Let me just start by telling you, yes my colouring is natural, everyone stops and asks my foster family if I’ve been to the salon to have my tips dyed, the answer is no, but you will need to take me for grooming every now and then!

Here are some quick facts you should know about me:
– I’m an easy-going pup who has a few bursts of energy, so a fenced-in yard would be great as I love to run and chase a ball. 
– I just love to cuddle on your lap or at your feet.  You must be willing to give me lots of belly rubs -they are my favourite.  If I think I haven’t had enough I will let you know!  I will nudge you with my head or give you a love tap to remind you I am still around and would like more loving!- 
There hasn’t been a dog I’ve met that I haven’t gotten along with, a canine friend might be nice. I haven’t met any cats, but with a proper intro we could be fast friends.
– I am fully housetrained and will go to the backdoor when I need to go out.
– I sleep all night long in my kennel in my foster parents’ room.
– I have not been left for long periods of time in my kennel, with exercise and a special treat and a bit of a vocal protest I will settle.
– I am a made-in Manitoba dog who loves to be outside at any temperature, so if you are afraid of the cold or exercise you need not apply.
– I have been working on my training, I can sit, lay down, shake a paw, give high 5’s, and even wave for the right treat.  I have been working on some agility as well. I go through a tunnel and can even jump over it! Foster mom says my recall is pretty good for a pup my age.  
– I get super excited when I see the leash come out and I am working on my manners.  But please be quick at getting your gear on otherwise I will let you know my dissatisfaction with this process, I can be quite cheeky!  I do pull when walking because I am just so excited to be out exploring the world around me, including all those wonderful smells, the people we pass and the friends I meet along the way.  A harness sometimes works but redirection is the best.
– I am a bit of a picky eater; foster mom can give you tips on what to feed me! But I do love my treats!
